The Concept
Lush greenery, tropical flowers, and a serene natural setting. The main concept was revolved around nature and involved the use of vibrant colour palettes and natural elements to enhance the tropical theme.
The Location
Our photoshoot took place at Wheeler’s Tropikana, tucked away in Gillman Barracks in Singapore. It was the perfect spot, nestled in nature and surrounded by trees, creating an ideal backdrop for the shoot. The restaurant featured hanging lanterns, bamboo, and wooden furniture, further enhancing the tropical theme we were going for. It's also located beside the iconic Bali-inspired arch, which served as the perfect spot for a wedding ceremony and photos.
Couples have 2 options to set up for ceremony: by the pool or by the Bali-inspired arch.
For reception: you can opt to have it on the first floor with a larger space or their second-level indoor dining area with air conditioning for a more intimate gathering.
Despite being an outdoor location, it stayed quite cool thanks to the large fans stationed throughout the area. If you’re considering this location, you can relax knowing there's a comfortable alternative if the heat becomes a concern!
Wedding Florals
Charlotte Puxley Weddings decorated the tables with vibrant florals and tropical fruits, bringing the perfect island touch to the theme! The arrangements on the level 1 dining area featured mostly low centerpieces styled with fruits, using a bright and lively colour palette. For the level 2 dining area, they went for a warmer colour scheme, with floral arrangements placed in bud vases. Simple and minimal, yet eye-catching!
The Looks
We went for a modern and minimalist styling to keep it simple and elegant amongst the vibrant decorations. The hair and make-up was also kept natural, clean and classic. For brides with multiple looks throughout their event, there's a small bridal room for changing and getting ready upstairs on the second floor.

A special touch...
We had a vintage car from Kombi Rocks that added the perfect final touch to the photoshoot! It was super cute, and we captured some really unique shots with it. The best part? We discovered it had a sunroof!
For this look, we switched things up by styling the Cora gown with the Everdeen Tulle Veil, which featured floral and leaf embroidery, perfect for the theme.
